• My Top 10 Photography Apps

Do you love photo apps as much as I do? I like to try them out as I learn about them, but not all get to live on my phone.  Below is a list of my most useful and favorites apps.

Steller – Everyone has a story to tell. Tell yours with photos, videos, and text. It’s like a digital coffee table book.  I’ve created several stories using this app and highly recommend it.

ADDY – Everyone can be creative with Addy! Color every moment and make your photos speak with broad and vivid collection of artworks, fonts and effects.

Creative Live –  Online classes in photography, graphic design, craft & DIY, marketing, business, and entrepreneurship. Available on-demand 24-7.  This is my go-to app for photography classes.  Some are free or can be purchased at a reasonable price.

PVC Pro – Photo and Video Collage Maker. Create beautiful and engaging photo & video collages with your memories and favorite music!  I love that I can add my own music, voice recordings or sound effects to a college and combine photos and videos together.

LiveCollage – Photo Editor, Collage Maker, Video Editor.  This one is not to be overlooked and is similar to PVC Pro. If I have more time to play, this app is my first choice.

Exif Viewer – EXIF stands for “EXchangeable Image File Format”  or EXIF Metadata.  EXIF Metadata stores information about every photo you take with your camera or your iPhone even.  I like to add my name and copyright information to all of my photos, so everytime I click the shutter that information will be stored in the image. It also stores other useful information like the camera used, shutter speed, aperture, ISO and lens used.  Maybe you saw an image on the web and wondered what camera and lens that person used. If the metadata hasn’t been erased, it could show you all of that information and more.

Lenstag – If your gear goes missing, using Lenstag greatly increases the chances you’ll get it back. All you need to do is list your item along with the serial number, upload a photo that used that particular gear and wait for it to be verified or not.  Lenstag keeps a list of all of your photography gear with their serial numbers and if your gear is stolen or lost and someone uploads a photo using said equipment, you’ll be notified.

Blipfoto –  I used this app exclusively for a year when I did my Photo a Day project.  Uploading from my phone to the app was extremely easy.  If you don’t want to upload all of your images to your Instagram account, then use this visual diary to document your daily life. I had fun looking back at older memories.

VideoShop – Sadly, this one is only available for iPhones. I love making videos, mostly featuring my cats, and then adding words and music to make it interesting. This one is packed full of features (playback video in reverse is fun)  such as trimming, adding music, sound effects, and subtitles.  It’s also easy to use.

Free Prints – Up to 1,000 free prints. No subscriptions and no commitments.  What’s not to like about this service?  Sure you pay for shipping it’s only $1.99 and never more than $9.99, no matter how many prints you order. Don’t know what to do with all of those photos on your phone?  Why not have them printed for free and shipped to you for a small fee.
